I needed a cheap little runaround and DTM cars was recommended to me by a family member who had previously bought a car from them.
They had a little older car there within my budget. It came with a full MOT but a couple months down the line, it broke down due to a minor issue (just wear and tear on a car that age). I called DTM up and were really helpful. They told me to send the car straight to them and they'd get it sorted. Got it back a couple days later in full working order again at no charge.
Sometimes things go wrong, and I can't fault how they responded when it did. I'll definitely be heading back when I'm ready for an upgrade to see what they have for sale.

Superb from start to finish. Enquired about a car and within several days Trevor and team had the car ready and freshly passed an MOT with no advisories. Quality car, no pushy sales and a pleasure to deal with. Really professional and highly recommended.

Would highly recommend this garage. They have been very accommodating both prior to buying a car and with all aftersales enquiries and help. They have always made the time to speak with me on the phone and in-person, and were happy to get my car up on the ramp at a moments notice to look into something for me. Very genuine and helpful people.

So .. Having lost my precious Audi TT to a ‘deer strike’ 🙄 .. I’d been hunting the U.K. for 3 months for the perfect replacement & stumbled on DTM and a few of their advertised TTs .. Having chatted to the guys they were really friendly, professional & easy to deal with. One thing which was refreshing and a pleasant surprise was that they said “ the car you’re interested in is great but there’s a few minor jobs ( service, oil change, tune up etc) that need doing to make it perfect .. we’ll have them done by the weekend so you can come & take her out for a test drive “ .. so hotfoot from York to Newcastle the following Saturday, Great to meet them in person, again friendly, professional & straight forward & a great garage with plenty stock .. the car I was interested in was just great & exactly as billed , & as they’d said fully serviced etc .. test drive was good & we talked numbers & made the deal .. simple .. I noted a few small paint chips & a scrape on the alloys which they said would be done before picking the car up the following weekend … true to their word the car was perfect & I drove home with it the following week & have enjoyed it ever since .. one thing to note the guys gave me LOADS of advice on taking care of the car & how to get the very best out of it especially the injection system & a few tips & tricks on servicing All in all a Fantastic service , great guys & id highly recccomend them .. Oh and for all of the doubters out there .. no .. im not a friend or a bot or a family member … lol .. just a happy client who’ll be using the guys at DTM again shortly to source a car for the missus Cheers fellas Sam 😉👌

If you are looking for a car and want a garage that gives 5* service then definitely go to DTM Cars. Trevor was welcoming, friendly, and honest. From seeing the car to buying it and collecting it, the whole process was straightforward with Joe giving advice on car maintenance and how to get the best from it before the handing over of the keys. Both Trevor and Joe were very helpful with a query I had, great team effort.

Been specifically looking for a Honda Civic Type S / R GT to upgrade too after having a 1 Litre Ecoboost for 5 years. When I bought my Fiesta 5 years ago I had many arguments with Car store and to be honest was dreading looking for my next car! I live in Hertfordshire and had been too see an Orange Honda civic a bit closer that was really worse for wear and it kind of put me off going to see anything after. I’d seen the Blue Honda Civic Trevor had advertised on Auto trader and was debating whether to make the 260 mile trip up to go and see it. After speaking to Trevor on the phone, nothing was too much trouble at all. Put the car on the ramp for me , did a live video of the car showing all of the age related marks on the car. After seeing the live videos and seeing how upfront Trevor had been I decided to make the journey up too see it. Well I can honestly say as soon as I saw it on the forecourt it was sold, everything was as described and I made the four and half hour journey back with it and Can honestly say that the service I’ve received has been second to none. I’m genuinely so pleased and would be going back! 100% recommend Trevor and Joe and team 😊

I have just bought a Citroen C3 from DTM and am more than satisfied, it’s a super car and in perfect condition, and at a great price. I was able to trade my old car in on the day, so I could drive the C5 away on the day. Both Trevor and Joe were really helpful and made the purchase and exchange effortless. I change my cars around every 2 years so will be back in 2025 for another.
